The poster as a mirror
The Stick*Stamp*Fly exhibition at Gasworks has ended. Here one of our "secret" shots from the gallery.

Stick*Stamp*Fly until 26 August
Exhibtion Continues: to 26 August
Forthcoming Event: It’s Going to be a Long Night, Thursday 23 August, 7-11.30pm
Stick*Stamp*Fly looks into posters as a means to communicate an event, an opinion or a rumour, as well as objects of design in their own right. Over eighty posters have been selected by open submission for the exhibition, six of which have inspired events.
Stick*Stamp*Fly features a variety of practitioners from across the UK, many of whom previously unknown to Gasworks. While some posters as a vehicle for uncanny proposals and projects, others vary from "chintz" to announcing products and services of the future.

Rumours tell the Aliens will hit Vuosaari next time
Aliens Anonymous presents
The Morse Ballet 5/7 – 3/7 2007
For the first time ever, the critically acclaimed art collective Aliens Anonymous perform The Morse Ballet, with their première live in
The Morse Ballet, is a project aimed at - but at the same time avoiding - vocalizing, structuring, and disambiguation. Aliens Anonymous will install for the timespan of the exhibition a stationary communication bot which will exhibit visual and aural stimulus, causes and effects from their travels in our world, and other worlds which we do not understand.
Moving image documenting the aliens exploring the psycho geography of Vuosaari will also be available for your perusal. They say: We will not be prisoners of the daily routes. The urban environment is designed to control, but we will create a design from our emotional paths. When following these paths we find reasons for movement that was not earlier there. In the Vuotalo Gallery everything is made with love rather than cynicism.
The Morse Ballet is a teaser but Aliens Anonymous is always looking for something to love.
